The Suckling Pig Feast

Eric’s favorite food amongst the many delicacies here.
There’s the uberlicious roast pork (sweet or salted versions), noodles (home cooked), Tom Yum Goong or River Fish … ahhh~ Endless selections …
but nooo … he’s ultra loyal to his SUCKLING PIG!

Here’s a toast to his loyalty!

we went to the restaurant that serves THE infamous Eric’s-SPig yesterday! it was a 1 hour (plus minus 15 mins) drive from my dad’s place and we reached there around 12 plus Thai time for lunch.

My dad ordered all the stuff and while waiting there were little girls selling peanuts and fruits (for appetitizers, I think)…
my dad’s mother-in-law bought a few packets from them … his mother-in-law came all the way from Sukothai (wonder if the spelling is right) to visit her daughter, sons and grandchildren.
anyway … they served the food and here’re the pictures~

There were lotsa people with us for lunch this time.
It was really joyous and blissful!

bo bian, i too long winded…Eric getting sick of me repeating that I like the 3 photos, posting them wherever I can…
but they’re soooooo beautiful~

On the other side of the bank, it’s Laos, you can vaguely see the silhouette of the mountains!
it’s grand when I look from this side of the bank – makes me wanna take a deep breath! (don’t know why!)

My mom went on a rampage @ Munchy Donut’s Main Branch in Katong!
we bought LOTS and LOTS of donuts… hahaha

I’m ‘ungry….

Food was really good in Japan…and it had spoilt us so much to the extent that sg food could not satisfy my hunger and cravings…
except KFC … Japan’s KFC SUCKS! and will continue to SUCK!

their ramen is GOD … and their curry rice is DA BEST!
and unless u are willing to pay A HELL LOT …don’t bother to spend extra on their pasta and chinese food…
but if you’re lucky…u might fall into a nice chinese-japanese fusion food trap…

we really wanted to try okonomiyaki, yakisoba (all we had was yakisoba pan!) and more traditional stuff …
but whenever we got back to the ryokan & hotels…it was too late for those…
we were always on the move…and bentos become our “staple” diet… but we loved those… 😀

WTF …
have anyone tried calling for KFC delivery recently?
I tried yesterday… and I’m still trying NOW!

they are FOREVER BZ!
only available in 6-10mins time!

2 baby sisters and a new Tamagotchi pet (with baby)

Yoohoo! I’m in Thailand … till err… i think the 20th of June. my sisters are soooo cute … I will post photos of them when i get my hands on faster internet connection…*hurhurhur*
it’s slowwww… very slow…

Eric bought me a tamagotchi v4 before we came to thailand…
and we are so addicted to our pets now
bringing the toons whenever we go …
irritating everyone with the beeping sounds that the little pager-lookalikes make! HAHA~

i have Ponytchi! she’s cute and SMART…
Eric has a worm-like thingy (but he insisted that it’s tiger-like)

we mated them both …and THEY HAD 2 BABY girls, in the 1st instance they got together…
wtf…

and they’re still very young… 4 yrs old young adults… unwedded (i suppose) and there they are… with two baby girls…

BAH!
yeah..that’s about all…

oh oh and we’re at the northeasten part of thailand…in a place named Nakhon Phanom…
really nice and cool place…except for the frequent lightning, thunders and HEAVY rain…
oh oh ! and LOTS OF mozzy, weird bugs and other misc insects…
i don’t mind the spiders though, they are cute 😀

there are lotsa doggies over here too. I will get Eric to take pictures of them when we are done with my dad’s website.

the last few days will be spent at a beach resort on an island. WOO~
